Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION#24-097 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CHANGE ORDER #1 FOR HALLS DOVER ACRES STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-02 WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Halls Dover Acres subdivision; and WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution#23-198, adopted August 22,2023,the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said improvements; and WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution#24-014, adopted January 9, 2024, the City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and authorized advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-064, adopted February 26, 2024, Dave Perkins Contracting of Nowthen,Minnesota,was awarded the construction contract in the amount of $844,919.01 for the total bid construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids; and WHEREAS, Change Order #1 in the amount of$2,253.00 will allow for the connection to City water service as requested by the residents at 6014 157th Lane NW. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The City Council hereby approves Change Order #1 in the total amount of$2,253.00 for Dave Perkins Contracting to add water service line to allow connection to municipal water at 6014 157th Lane NW. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 9th day of April, 2024.
