Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#24-097 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CHANGE ORDER #1 FOR HALLS DOVER ACRES <br /> STREET RECONSTRUCTIONS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-02 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct the streets within the Halls Dover Acres <br /> subdivision; and <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution#23-198, adopted August 22,2023,the <br /> City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution#24-014, adopted January 9, 2024, the <br /> City Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and authorized <br /> advertisement for bids for the same improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-064, adopted February 26, 2024, <br /> Dave Perkins Contracting of Nowthen,Minnesota,was awarded the construction contract in the amount of <br /> $844,919.01 for the total bid construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and <br /> specifications and advertisement for bids; and <br /> WHEREAS, Change Order #1 in the amount of$2,253.00 will allow for the connection to City <br /> water service as requested by the residents at 6014 157th Lane NW. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> 1) The City Council hereby approves Change Order #1 in the total amount of$2,253.00 for Dave <br /> Perkins Contracting to add water service line to allow connection to municipal water at 6014 157th <br /> Lane NW. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br /> the 9th day of April, 2024. <br />
