Half Mile Radius <br />The half -mile radius is commonly known as the TOD Area or Transit Improvement Area (TIA). The City <br />has submitted an application to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development <br />(DEED) for a TIA designation. For purposes of this analysis, if the half -mile boundary intersected a sub- <br />TAZ, the entire sub-TAZ was calculated for the analysis.
