<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #24-113 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSALS AND AWARDING TELEVISING <br />CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-05, MSA XKIMO STREET <br />RECONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-07, 2024 <br />NEIGHBORHOOD PAVEMENT OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct MSA Xkimo Street between <br />nd <br />Trunk Highway 47 and 142 Avenue as well as proposes to overlay the pavement on numerous <br />public street segments in 2024 as identified within the 2024 – 2033 Capital Improvement <br />Programs; and <br />WHEREAS, televising of sanitary and storm sewers is required to accurately evaluate <br />the condition of below ground municipal utilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to six (6) firms for the purpose of <br />obtaining quotes for completing the proposed cleaning and televising services; and <br />WHEREAS, the two (2) cleaning and televising proposals received is tabulated below; and <br /> <br /> Hydro-Klean, LLC Nelson Sanitation & <br />Project Proposal Rental, Inc. Proposal <br /> <br />IP 24-05 MSA Xkimo Street Reconstruction $11,810.70 $8,993.50 <br /> <br />IP 24-07 2024 Neighborhood Pavement $11,341.65 $10,195.00 <br />Overlay – Bowers Drive Mill & <br />Overlay <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposal of Nelson Sanitation & Rental, Inc. in the amount of <br />$19,188.50 for said services in accordance with the prepared proposal is the lowest responsible <br />proposal and their proposal shall be and hereby is accepted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Nelson Sanitation & Rental, Inc. for said cleaning and televising services for <br />and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
