4.01: Consider Approval of Purchase Agreement and Right of Re-Entry Agreement for <br /> 6591 141St Avenue NW; Case of Blanery LLC (Portions of the meeting may be closed <br /> to the public) <br /> Economic Development Manager Sullivan presented the staff report. <br /> Aliaksandr Blashchanitsa, applicant, commented that he is a builder, and they are excited to build <br /> something for themselves. He stated that Ramsey was chosen because of its location and because <br /> they are familiar with the ground conditions as they commonly build in Ramsey. He believed that <br /> an autobody shop would have success in this market and the additional office space on the second <br /> floor would provide additional income. <br /> Motion by Member Johnson, seconded by Member Stewart, to recommend to City Council to <br /> approve the Purchase Agreement and Right of Re-Entry Agreement with Blanery LLC as <br /> presented; subject to City Attorney review. <br /> Further discussion: Member Riley commented that this is a great example of the EDA doing work <br /> for the City. He believed this to be a great project and he is happy to see the redevelopment of this <br /> site. He also liked the multi-use with autobody and office space. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Wiyninger, Members Johnson, Stewart, Howell, <br /> Lindahl, and Riley. Voting No: None. Absent: Member MacLennan. <br /> 4.02: Consider Recommendation to Approve Bossman Inc. Sign and Awning Program <br /> Request <br /> Economic Development Manager Sullivan presented the staff report. <br /> Motion by Member Stewart, seconded by Member Johnson, to recommend to City Council to <br /> approve a $1,500 grant from the Sign and Awning Program for Bossman, Inc. <br /> Further discussion: Member Riley noted that this is another great example of what the EDA can <br /> do in the City. He noted the tools that the EDA has available to assist in getting restaurants into <br /> the community, as that is a desired amenity. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Wiyninger, Members Stewart, Johnson, Howell, <br /> Lindahl, and Riley. Voting No: None. Absent: Member MacLennan. <br /> 5. MEMBER/ STAFF UPDATE <br /> Economic Development Manager Sullivan provided an update relating to traffic counts on <br /> Armstrong exceeding 10,000 trips per day and noted that they are almost full for the Business <br /> Expo.
