5. 7. <br /> CC Regular Session <br /> Meeting Date: 05/14/2024 <br /> Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Not Applicable <br /> Information <br /> Title <br /> Approval of Quit Claim Deeds for Northfork Meadows Outlots <br /> Purpose/Background: <br /> As part of the approval of the Northforks Meadows plat(urban single family), outlots were created to provide a <br /> buffer from the existing rural lots that are part of the Whispering Pines Estate Plat 2. The outlots are to be sold to <br /> the adjacent(rural) landowner at the cost of$1 and the properties must be combined. Three (3) of the six(6) <br /> property owners have expressed interest in the outlots. Staff has been unable to get in contact with the remaining <br /> three(3)property owners but will continue to try to contact them. The <br /> The following property owners have expressed interest and have been working with staff throughout the process: <br /> 15120 Kangaroo St-Barb Volner-Outlot B,Northfork Meadows <br /> 15130 Kangaroo St-Laurie Solie-Outlot C,Northfork Meadows <br /> 15150 Kangaroo St, Matthew Clark-Outlot D-Northfork Meadows <br /> Fritz Knaak, City Attorney drafted the attached Quit Claim Deeds and the property owners have received copies <br /> for review. <br /> Attached for your review are the following: Northfork Meadows plat,Whispering Pines Estate Plat 2, and the <br /> Quit Claim Deeds. <br /> Notification: <br /> Not Applicable <br /> Funding Source: <br /> The City of Ramsey will be financially responsible for the executed Quit Claim Deeds to be filed with Anoka <br /> County Property and Taxation, along with the Anoka County Property Combination Form. <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Staff recommends approval of the Quit Claim Deeds. Other options could be to deny the Quit Claim Deeds or <br /> provide staff with other options. <br /> Action: <br /> Motion to approve the Quit Claim Deeds that deed the city owned outlot from Northfork Meadows to the adjacent <br /> property owners with a requirement that the outlot and the rural lot must be combined at Anoka County. <br /> Attachments <br /> Northfork Meadows Plat <br /> Whispering Pines Estates Plat 2 <br />
