5. 8. <br /> CC Regular Session <br /> Meeting Date: 05/14/2024 <br /> PrimaryStrategic Plan Initiative: Identify and implement operational efficiencies,cost savings and additional <br /> g funding sources. <br /> Information <br /> Title <br /> Approve Updated JPA with the Anoka-Hennepin Narcotics and Violent Crimes Task Force <br /> Purpose/Background: <br /> The purpose of this case it to consider approving the updated Joint Powers Agreement between the City <br /> of Ramsey and the 9 cities and 1 county which comprise the Anoka Hennepin Narcotics and Violent Crimes Task <br /> Force(AHNVCTF) also known as the drug task force. The City of Ramsey joined the AHNVCTF in 2017. The <br /> attached JPA defines the agreed upon terms and conditions required for the city of Ramsey to participate in <br /> AHNVCTF operations and governance. <br /> This is an annual revision of the JPA.
