Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION#24-123 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENTS FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-04, FORD BROOK ESTATES DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to construct drainage improvements to collect stormwater runoff from City streets within the Ford Brook Estates residential development, and from a portion of State Highway 47,and to route the stormwater runoff to Ford Brook to address stormwater runoff encroachment concerns raised by private property owners; and WHEREAS,the City of Ramsey charges residents and businesses a monthly stormwater utility fee to provide a dedicated source of revenue for stormwater drainage projects to correct drainage issues and for stormwater maintenance operations; and WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution#23-280 adopted November 14, 2023, the City Engineer was ordered to prepare plans and specifications for Improvement Project #24-04 and Bolton & Menk, Inc. was authorized to collect topographic survey in the amount of$3,460 to assist with preparation of plans and specifications; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has completed the plans and specifications for the purpose of advertising bids for Improvement Project#24-04, Ford Brook Estates Drainage Improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer and authorizes advertisements for bids for Improvement Project #24-04, Ford Brook Estates Drainage Improvements. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent:
