5. 14. <br /> CC Regular Session <br /> Meeting Date: 05/28/2024 <br /> Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Not Applicable <br /> Information <br /> Title <br /> Adopt Resolution#24-144 Approving Change Order No. 2 for Improvement Project#23-19, COR Infrastructure <br /> Improvements. <br /> Purpose/Background: <br /> Change Order#2 proposes to delete the"Native Sod"pay item and to replace it with a "Native Seed" pay item <br /> that would include a native seed mix that replicates the native turf blend in the native sod, along with Category 25 <br /> blanket. The contractor's bid price for the native sod is $34.00 per square yard. The contractor is able to provide <br /> native seed and blanket for$4.00 per square yard instead,reducing project costs by$37,500. The contractor has <br /> stated the seed will provide the same or better product as the sod.
