Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION#24-150 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND MnDOT COOPERATIVE CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT NO. 1056358 AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENTS FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #22-17, RAMSEY VILAS NORTH SOUND WALL IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to construct sound wall improvements along the west boundary of the Ramsey Villas North plat to address concerns raised by local property owners due to excessive noise generated by vehicle traffic on Highway 47; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer worked with Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) staff to develop Cooperative Construction Agreement No. 1056358 to allow the City to construct and maintain City Improvement Project #22-17 on MnDOT right-of-way in accordance with the terms of the agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has completed plans and specifications for the purpose of advertising bids for Improvement Project#22-11, Ramsey Villas North Sound Wall Improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves MnDOT Cooperative Construction Agreement No. 1056358 and authorizes and directs the Mayor and City Administrator to execute this agreement for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. 2) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer and authorizes advertisements for bids for Improvement Project#22-11, Ramsey Villas North Sound Wall Improvements. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent:
