2. 1. <br /> CC Regular Session <br /> Meeting Date: 05/28/2024 <br /> Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Enhance City's communication through transparency and accountability. <br /> Information <br /> Title: <br /> Annual Public Works Department Update <br /> Purpose/Background: <br /> The Public Works Department consists of three divisions; Parks, Streets and Utilities. <br /> Parks <br /> The city has over 500 acres of municipal parkland containing 39 municipal parks, 17 of which have playgrounds, along with 2 <br /> regional parks with varying amenities. The city also has approximately 75 miles of trails, 30 miles of sidewalks, and 7 <br /> boardwalks.
