Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#24-151 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT FOR 6821 1461h CIR <br /> NW <br /> WHEREAS,Michael and Michelle Powers,hereinafter referred to as the"Applicant,"has <br /> requested an Encroachment Agreement(the"Agreement")to allow for the continued installment <br /> of private improvements of a fence and children's play equipment(Improvements)within platted <br /> park land.; and <br /> WHEREAS, the placement of the Improvements within the park land would require an <br /> Easement Encroachment Agreement, approved by the City Council; and <br /> WHERAS, the City Council reviewed the request for the Agreement on the park land for <br /> the Improvements during their regular meeting on May 14, 2024. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the request for an Easement Encroachment Agreement for a private fence and <br /> children's play equipment to encroach into the park land is hereby approved and authorizes the <br /> Mayor and City Administrator to sign it. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Howell, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> None <br />
