Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #24-128 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING VACATING EASEMENTS IN HARMONY FARMS <br /> RECITALS <br /> WHEREAS,U.S. Home, LLC, (Lennar Corporation) is requesting a vacation of all platted <br /> drainage and utility easements on a parcel legally described as: <br /> Outlot B, Harmony Farms, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing pursuant to Section 106-260 (Easement Vacation) of the <br /> Ramsey City Code and Section 12.6 of the City Charter was held on May 28, 2024, and that said <br /> public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are available; <br /> WHEREAS, CenterPoint Energy provided notice that there are no utilities in the easement; <br /> WHEREAS, the intent of the vacating of easement will facilitate a replat and <br /> reconfiguration of easements. <br /> FINDINGS OF FACT <br /> 1. That the easement vacation will not violate the intent and purpose of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> 2. That the easement vacation is necessary to accomplish the intended purpose of a residential <br /> development. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants approval of vacating all easements within the <br /> above-described parcel as shown on Exhibit 1. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br />
