The public
is always welcome
to visit Ramsey
Fire Station 1 at
15050 Armstrong
Boulevard NW. It's
best to call the Fire
Administration
Office at 763-433-9830 to ensure firefighters are not on
a call or if you are bringing a large group. Remember, the
firefighters at the station are on duty and may need to
respond to an emergency quickly.
The department also organizes activities throughout
the year. For more information about the Ramsey Fire
Department, please visit www.cityoframsey.com/280.
Adopt -a -Flag
You may have noticed
that the American flags
were placed in their
brackets on the light poles
last week. Not only are
they patriotic and beautiful
during the day, but the light
from the poles makes them
shine at night.
Did you know that
you can sponsor one of these flags? It's a unique way to
demonstrate civic pride or honor a loved one's memory. Your
one-time donation will be commemorated with an engraved
nameplate on display in City Hall and recognized in the
Ramsey Resident and at a City Council meeting.
There are two levels ofpatronage. Friends of the Flag is
$50 and sponsors one of the 2-foot by 3-foot flags. The other
is the Patriot Sponsorship, at $500. That flag is 3-foot by
5-foot and is in the intersections in the COR.
To find out what sponsorship entails, visit
www.cityoframsey.com/778. You can also sign up for the
program through the City's website. Feel free to contact
Kathy at kschmitzna cityoframsey.com or 763-433-9844.
Attachments
Flyer: Parks and Recreation Events
Flyer: The Draw Summer Concert Series
Flyer: Happy Days 5K and Youth Fun Run
Flyer: 2024 EDA Appreciation Golf Tournament
Best regards,
Brian Hagen
City Administrator
CITY OF RAMSEY Weekly UPDATE I June 21, 2024 3
