Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #06-06-XXX <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />THE SOLICITATION OF PROPOSALS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 0541 <br />CONSTRUCTION OF CITY WELL NO. 7 AND CITY WELL NO. 8 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the AUAR prepared for the Ramsey Town center has identified the need for <br />additional well capacity for the City's water utility; and <br /> <br /> VfI-IEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared by Bolten and Menk, Inc, for <br />the construction of Well No. 7 and Well No. 8; and <br /> <br /> WI-IEREAS, fund'mg for construction of Well No. 7 and Well No. 8 will come f~om the <br />City's Water and Sewer Utility. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY~ ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The plans and specifications prepared for the above referenced project are hereby accepted <br /> and; <br /> <br />2) The City Administrator is directed to solicit bids for said proj eot. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Counciknember <br />Cook, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 27th day of June 2006. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06~06-xxx <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br /> -327- <br /> <br /> <br />
