Since this is a temporary condition staff suggests two measures bc considered for implementation during this interim period. First, increased police patrol to insure compliance with the 30 mph speed limit and continued u~e of the speed trailer to remind motorists of the need to adhere to the 30mph speed limit. Staff also suggestm the placement of temporary all way (three way) stop signs at the intemections of Kamacite Street and 148u~ Avenue and Kamacite Street and 147m Lane. These stop signs are not intended to control speed through the neighborhood, but mt. her are being placed to emphasis the need to assign fight of way because the through tra.fiSc may be unfamiliar with local tra~c conditions. These temporary stops signs shall be removed upon termination of the county road closures.
