Goodrich, City Attorney <br /> <br />Background: <br />As the Council is aware the City has approved the sale of certain City owned property surrounding <br />the existing City Hall to GM Land Company for residential development and which property is <br />being platted as Meadow. TIris is all pursuant to the terms of a Real Estate Exchange Agreement <br />whereby the City is exchanging its property for land south of the existing City Hall campus. A sale <br />ordinance is necessary for the sale of the City property. The Exchange Agreement has not been <br />finalized however it is close, pending resolution of certain land title issues. Staff would like to have <br />the sale ordinance introduced so that we can proceed with its final adoption when the plat has been <br />recorded and we can then use the platted lots for the legal descriptions. <br /> <br />Enclosure: <br />Map showing the Meadow Plat. <br />Proposed Sale Ordinance. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt motion to introduce the Sale Ordinance. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br />Motion to introduce a Sale Ordinance for the sale of following legally described property: <br /> <br />Outlot A <br />Lots 6 - 20, 22 and 23, Block I <br />Lots 2 - 6, Block 2 <br />Lots I - 9, Block 3 <br />Lot 1, Block 5 <br />All in the duly recorded plat of MEADOW, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
