Councilmember __ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #06~06-X_XX RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 1s'r PARTIAL PAYMENT TO PARK CONSTRUCTION FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05-20 RAMSEY BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, on January 24, 2006, City Council adopted Resolution #06-01-035 approving the plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Improvement Project #05-20, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and WHEREAS, on April t lth, 2006, City Council adopted Resolution #06-04-118 awarding the contract to Park Construction: WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and reconm~ends partial payment to Park Construction in the amount of $279,512.73. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Park Construction for Improvement Project #05-20 in the amount of $279,512.73. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of June 27, 2006. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
