Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#24-173 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #2 FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> #23-20, COR MASS GRADING <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 422-241, adopted October 25, <br /> 2022,the City Council authorized Bolton&Menk, Inc.to complete The COR Public Infrastructure <br /> and Wetland Analysis proposals; and <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 423-107, adopted May 9,2023, <br /> the City Council approved The COR Public Infrastructure Design Services proposal of Bolton & <br /> Menk, Inc. specifying their scope of services and not-to-exceed fees for design services associated <br /> with public infrastructure improvements in The COR; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 423-157, adopted July 11, <br /> 2023, the City Council approved the plans prepared by Bolton and Menk, Inc. and authorized <br /> advertising bids for City Improvement Project 423-20, COR Mass Grading; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 423-176, adopted August 8, <br /> 2023, the City Council accepted ten bids and directed the Mayor and City Administrator to enter <br /> into a contract with the lowest responsible bidder, Enebak Construction Company, in the amount <br /> of$4,197,240.34 for construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and <br /> specifications and advertisement for bids, and directed the City Administrator to accept the <br /> Construction Services Proposal of Bolton and Menk, Inc. in the not-to-exceed amount of <br /> $222,187.00; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution 423-245, adopted October 10, <br /> 2023,the City Council approved Change Order No. 1 increasing construction costs by $39,716.98 <br /> for the purpose of realigning storm sewer closer to Sunwood Drive to maximize development <br /> potential; and <br /> WHEREAS, additional storm sewer modifications were found to be necessary and were <br /> completed under Change Order No. 2 increasing construction costs by $17,238.71. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> 1) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 2 <br /> for Improvement Project 423-20, COR Mass Grading, for and on behalf of the City of <br /> Ramsey. <br />
