ARCHITECTURAL NARRATIVE FOR TAKE 5 OIL — RAMSEY, MN <br />CUP Submittal <br />Codes and Standards: <br />The following codes and standards will apply to this project. <br />• 2018 International Building Code <br />• 2020 MN Building Code <br />• 2020 Accessibility Code <br />• 2024 MN Energy Code <br />• 2020 NEC Code <br />Program <br />Take 5 offers fast, friendly, simple oil changes while you stay in -your -car. You'll be in and out in 10 <br />minutes. You'll get free water, tire check, and fluid top off. This facility will incorporate 3 drive-thru <br />bays for your oil change. One of those bays will have a lift capability to do tire rotations. <br />Take 5 is not an auto repair shop nor is it the intent to turn into that. <br />Site Plan <br />Phase 1 will include the Take 5 facility with a future restaurant development in Phase 2. Take 5 facility <br />will coordinate with the future Aldi site to create a cohesive, convenient, and efficient site plan. <br />Twelve (12) parking spots will be included as part of the Take 5 development with one (1) being an ADA <br />stall. Parking along the Northstar mall is being provided as part of the purchase agreement. <br />One trash enclosure 10' wide x 12' deep will be provided using rock -faced CMU block to enclose it. The <br />CMU will match the color of the brick on the main Take 5 building. <br />Plan <br />The plan is a 30' wide x 62' long building (1,860 SF). The majority of the facility is (3) drive thru bays, but <br />will also include a toilet, an office, and a storage room. <br />Once a week an oil truck will fill the South side oil tanks and every other week an oil truck will remove <br />the waste from the North side. These are typically done during off hours, so as to not impede traffic and <br />business operations. <br />Exterior Elevations <br />The design of the exterior will include face brick, EIFs, a precast band, aluminum canopy, pre -finished <br />metal coping, and signage. See architectural exterior elevations for colored elevation renderings. <br />
