WHEREAS, the deadline to submit an application for the 2024-2026 grant cycle is March <br />29, 2024; and <br />WHEREAS, grant recipients will be notified by the Metropolitan Council no later than <br />May 24, 2024; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey's Environmental Policy Board (EPB) reviewed this grant <br />opportunity on March 18, 2024 and recommended applying for the 2024-2026 round of funding. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes Staff to apply for Water Efficiency Grant <br />funds for the 2022-2024 cycle in an amount not to exceed $50,000. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Kuzma <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Howell <br />Councilmember Musgrove <br />Councilmember Specht <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />Councilmember Woestehoff <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 26th day of March, 2024. <br />ATTEST: <br />2nca 5_ <br />Mayor <br />Resolution #24-092 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
