Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #24-173 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #2 FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />#23-20, COR MASS GRADING <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-241, adopted October 25, 2022, the <br />City Council authorized Bolton & Menk, Inc. to complete The COR Public Infrastructure and Wetland <br />Analysis proposals; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-107, adopted May 9,2023, the City <br />Council approved The COR Public Infrastructure Design Services proposal of Bolton & Menk, Inc. <br />specifying their scope of services and not -to -exceed fees for design services associated with public <br />infrastructure improvements in The COR; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-157, adopted July 11, 2023, the <br />City Council approved the plans prepared by Bolton and Menk, Inc. and authorized advertising bids for <br />City Improvement Project #23-20, COR Mass Grading; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-176, adopted August 8, 2023, the <br />City Council accepted ten bids and directed the Mayor and City Administrator to enter into a contract with <br />the lowest responsible bidder, Enebak Construction Company, in the amount of $4,197,240.34 for <br />construction of the improvements in accordance with the approved plans and specifications and <br />advertisement for bids, and directed the City Administrator to accept the Construction Services Proposal of <br />Bolton and Menk, Inc. in the not -to -exceed amount of $222,187.00; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #23-245, adopted October 10, 2023, <br />the City Council approved Change Order No. 1 increasing construction costs by $39,716.98 for the purpose <br />of realigning storm sewer closer to Sunwood Drive to maximize development potential; and <br />WHEREAS, additional storm sewer modifications were found to be necessary and were <br />completed under Change Order No. 2 increasing construction costs by $17,238.71. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 2 <br />for Improvement Project #23-20, COR Mass Grading, for and on behalf of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />
