PHOTO BY KEVIN STEWART <br />Embark on an adventure in New Ulm, known as the Bavarian <br />capital of the Midwest! We will take a coach bus through scenic <br />farmlands and rural communities. From there, a local guide will <br />join us for an informative tour showcasing New Ulm's unique <br />architecture, historical landmarks and cultural heritage. A <br />traditional German lunch will be served at the Veigel's Kaiserhoff <br />Restaurant. After lunch, we will learn about the art of brewing in <br />an immersive tour of the Schell's Brewery. <br />7:45 a.m.: Leave Ramsey City Hall <br />9:45 a.m.: Arrive at New Ulm's Visitors Center, refreshments <br />10:00 a.m.: A local guide will give insight of this unique village. <br />New Ulm is truly the Bavarian capital of the Midwest. <br />11:55 a.m.: The tour will conclude at the Glockenspiel Musical <br />Clock Tower for the noon performance. <br />12:30 p.m.: Arrive at Veigel's Kaiserhoff Restaurant for lunch. <br />Option 1. Landjaeger old German style pork and beef smoked <br />sausage, served with hot German potato salad, <br />sauerkraut, served with fresh rye bread, beverage. <br />Option 2. Beer battered cod basket served with French fries, Cole <br />slaw, beverage. <br />2:00 p.m.: Arrive at Schell's Brewery for a walking tour. Visit the <br />museum, sample beers in the tap room or walk the gardens. <br />3:30 p.m.: Leave New Ulm. <br />5:45 p.m.: Estimated return time to Ramsey. <br />Preregistration is required. <br />Wednesday, July 31 <br />7:30 a.m.-5:45 p.m. <br />Bus leaves from, returns to <br />Ramsey City Hall <br />7550 Sunwood Drive NW <br />Ramsey.
