Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#24-178 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR 2024 MSA PAVEMENT OVERLAY <br /> IMPROVEMENTS, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #24-06 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to overlay the pavement on numerous Municipal State <br /> Aid (MSA) street segments in 2024 as identified within the 2024— 2033 Capital Improvement Program; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution#23-298, adopted November 28, 2023, <br /> the City Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for 2024 MSA Pavement <br /> Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project#24-06; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the purpose of advertising <br /> for bids for 2024 MSA Pavement Overlay Improvements, Improvement Project#24-06. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves the plans and specifications prepared by the City <br /> Engineer and authorizes advertisement for bids for said improvements as City Improvement Project <br /> #24-061 2024 MSA Pavement Overlay Improvements. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 9tn <br /> day of July,2024. <br />
