Councilmember .................introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #24-184 <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPOINT ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY BOARD MEMBERS <br /> WHEREAS, there are open seats on the Environmental Policy Board; and <br /> WHEREAS, the vacancies were advertised in the Ramsey Resident, the Anoka County <br /> Union, on the City's website, on QCTV, on the City's Facebook, on the Highway 10 sign and via <br /> the City's email notification system; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council conducted interviews on June 20, 2024; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council agreed by consensus to the following appointments: <br /> Environmental Nick Burgess Partial term ending 03-31-2025 <br /> Policy Board Paul Houts Partial term ending 03-31-2028 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> Motion to adopt resolution#24-184 appointing the following members to the <br /> Environmental Policy Board: <br /> 1) Mr. Nick Burgess to a partial term ending March 31, 2025; and <br /> 2) Ms. Paula Houts to a partial term ending March 31, 2028. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> .............., and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br /> the 9th day of July, 2024. <br />
