COMMITTEE / STAFF INPUT <br /> 6.01: Receive Updates on Improvement Projects, Studies, and Items of Interest <br /> City Engineer/Public Works Director Westby provided an update on current and proposed City, <br /> County, and MnDOT improvement projects and studies, and on other items of interest to the <br /> Committee. <br /> Chairperson Musgrove asked if there is an update on the Ferry Street/Highway 47 railroad <br /> crossing. <br /> City Engineer/Public Works Director Westby replied that MnDOT has officially paused this <br /> project but previously allocated funds are secure for the time being. <br /> 6.02: Review Future Topics Calendar <br /> Chairperson Musgrove provided input on street sweeping studies as discussed by the Watershed <br /> Implementation Funding group today and asked for information on the City's street sweeping <br /> policy. <br /> City Engineer/Public Works Director Westby provided additional details on the street sweeping <br /> process and its benefits, and that Staff plans to review and update the street sweeping policy to <br /> address everything practicable to reduce the transport of sediment and phosphorus to receiving <br /> waters. <br /> 7.
