ARCHITECTURAL NARRATIVE FOR TAKE 5 OIL—RAMSEY, MN CUP Submittal Codes and Standards: The following codes and standards will apply to this project. • 2018 International Building Code • 2020 MN Building Code • 2020 Accessibility Code • 2024 M N Energy Code • 2020 NEC Code Program Take 5 offers fast,friendly, simple oil changes while you stay in-your-car. You'll be in and out in 10 minutes. You'll get free water,tire check, and fluid top off. This facility will incorporate 3 drive-thru bays for your oil change. One of those bays will have a lift capability to do tire rotations. Take 5 is not an auto repair shop nor is it the intent to turn into that. Site Plan Phase 1 will include the Take 5 facility with a future restaurant development in Phase 2. Take 5 facility will coordinate with the future Aldi site to create a cohesive, convenient, and efficient site plan. Twelve (12) parking spots will be included as part of the Take 5 development with one (1) being an ADA stall. Parking along the Northstar mall is being provided as part of the purchase agreement. One trash enclosure 10'wide x 12' deep will be provided using rock-faced CMU block to enclose it. The CMU will match the color of the brick on the main Take 5 building. Plan The plan is a 30'wide x 62' long building (1,860 SF). The majority of the facility is (3) drive thru bays, but will also include a toilet, an office, and a storage room. Once a week an oil truck will fill the South side oil tanks and every other week an oil truck will remove the waste from the North side. These are typically done during off hours, so as to not impede traffic and business operations. Exterior Elevations The design of the exterior will include face brick, EIFs, a precast band, aluminum canopy, pre-finished metal coping, and signage.
