5. 4. <br /> CC Regular Session <br /> Meeting Date: 07/09/2024 <br /> Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Strive for high organizational morale and employee retention <br /> Information <br /> Title: <br /> Approve the City Administrator's Annual Performance Evaluation <br /> Purpose/Background: <br /> The purpose of this case is for the City Council to accept the City Administrator's annual performance evaluation. <br /> As part of the City Administrator's annual performance evaluation,direct reports, members of the City Council and City <br /> Administrator Brian Hagen independently participated in the performance evaluation.Subsequently,the results were <br /> compiled and the Mayor and City Administrator met to discuss the results of the evaluation. <br /> At the June 25,2024, City Council work-session,the Council met in a closed session to conduct the annual performance <br /> evaluation of City Administrator Hagen,as required by his employment agreement.The session was closed pursuant to <br /> Minnesota Statutes§ 13D.05,subdivision 3(a)which states, in part"A public body may close a meeting to evaluate the <br /> performance of an individual who is subject to its authority.At its next open meeting,the public body shall summarize its <br /> conclusions regarding the evaluation."
