Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #24-195 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSALS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FIRE <br /> STATION No.1 SEWER AND WATER CONNECTIONS <br /> WHEREAS,the City proposes to connect sewer and water to Fire Station No.1; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-171, adopted June 25, 2024, the <br /> City Council ordered the City Engineer to request proposals for said improvement; and <br /> WHEREAS,request for proposals were submitted to four contractors for the purpose of obtaining <br /> proposals for completing said improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, four (4) proposals were received, opened, and tabulated on July 16, 2024, and the <br /> following proposals were found to comply with the request for proposals; and <br /> Contractor Total Proposal <br /> Dryden Excavating, Inc. $27,957.82 <br /> One Call Contracting, Inc. $31,313.80 <br /> Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. $40,473.00 <br /> Reshetar Systems, Inc. $451236.67 <br /> Engineer 19s Estimate $31,575.00 <br /> WHEREAS, the quote of Dryden Excavating, Inc. in the amount of$27,957.82 for said services <br /> in accordance with the prepared proposals is the lowest responsible proposal and their proposal shall be and <br /> hereby is accepted. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br /> with Dryden Excavating, Inc. for said services for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br />
