7. 1. <br /> CC Regular Session New <br /> Meeting Date: 07/23/2024 <br /> Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Promote economic growth and development. <br /> Title: <br /> Public Hearing: Adopt Resolution#24-18 8 Vacating Drainage and Utility Easements in Waterfront Village <br /> Purpose/Background: <br /> The City Council recently approved the plat of Waterfront Village, a 108-unit detached townhome development <br /> southwest of Bunker Lake Boulevard and Zeolite Street. There are two drainage and utility easements on the <br /> western part of the plat, outside the first phase of development, that are excessive in area. The proposed vacation <br /> would be followed up with replatting the right sized easements with the second phase. Without the vacation, <br /> several of the home sites would be impacted and rendered unbuildable. <br /> Notification: <br /> A legal notice was published in the Anoka Union Herald. The private utility companies were provided a 30-day <br /> emailed notification. One of the utility companies has its lines in a portion of the easement along Armstrong <br /> Boulevard.
