During the bidding process, Staff was made aware of long build time for concrete structures,resulting in the <br /> substantial completion date being moved back to October 11, 2024. Staff has applied for this permit in May 2024 <br /> and anticipates receiving it soon. A Lower Rum River WMO permit is not required, and neither is a permit from <br /> the City of Nowthen since the work will occur in MnDOT right-of-way. <br /> Alternatives: <br /> Alternative#1 -Motion to adopt Resolution#24-205 accepting bids and awarding contract for Ford Brook <br /> Estates Drainage Improvements, Improvement Project#24-04. <br /> Alternative#2-Motion of other. <br /> Funding Source: <br /> Funding for this improvement is proposed to come from storm water utility funds. <br /> Bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald on June 14 and June 21, 2024. The construction staking and as-built survey are included in the <br /> indirect project costs. <br /> City Staff proposes to administer and inspect construction. Plans and specifications were prepared in-house as <br /> part of Staff s normal duties. <br />
