6. 3. <br /> CC Regular Session New <br /> Meeting Date: 07/23/2024 <br /> Primary Strategic Plan Initiative: Not Applicable <br /> Title <br /> Approval of Quit Claim Deed for Northfork Meadows Outlot <br /> Purpose/Background: <br /> As part of the approval of the Northforks Meadows plat(urban single family), outlots were created to provide a <br /> buffer from the existing rural lot that are part of the Whispering Pines Estate Plat 2. The outlots are to be sold to <br /> the adjacent(rural)landowner at the cost of$1 and the properties must be combined. Four(4) of the sic (6) <br /> property owners have expressed interest in the outlots. Staff has been unable to get in contact with two (2) <br /> property owners but will continue to try to contact them. <br /> Roger Duax and Alexa Merrill, 15210 Kangaroo St NW, are interested in the outlot associated with their <br /> property. Attached for your review is the Quit Claim Deed. <br /> Notification: <br /> Not Applicable <br /> Funding Source: <br /> The City of Ramsey will be financially responsible for the executed Quit Claims Deed to be filed with Anoka <br /> County Property and Taxation, along with the Anoka County Combination Form. <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Staff recommends approval of the Quit Claim Deed.
