Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #24-195 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSALS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FIRE STATION No.1 SEWER AND WATER CONNECTIONS WHEREAS, the City proposes to connect sewer and water to Fire Station No.1; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #24-171, adopted June 25, 2024, the City Council ordered the City Engineer to request proposals for said improvement; and WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to four contractors for the purpose of obtaining proposals for completing said improvements; and WHEREAS, four (4) proposals were received, opened, and tabulated on July 16, 2024, and the following proposals were found to comply with the request for proposals; and Contractor Total Proposal Dryden Excavating, Inc. $27,957.82 One Call Contracting, Inc. $31,313.80 Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. $40,473.00 Reshetar Systems, Inc. $45,236.67 Engineer’s Estimate $31,575.00 WHEREAS, the quote of Dryden Excavating, Inc. in the amount of $27,957.82 for said services in accordance with the prepared proposals is the lowest responsible proposal and their proposal shall be and hereby is accepted. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Dryden Excavating, Inc. for said services for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey.
