Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-02-027 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY OF RAMSEY'S 1993 BUDGET <br />CALENDAR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Charter states that a budget calendar shall be <br />established annually by resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey's Budget Committee reviewed the 1993 Budget <br />process at their meeting of February 11, 1992 and recommends that City Council adopt the <br />following calendar: <br /> <br />1992 <br /> <br />February 25 <br /> <br />Council adopts the budget calendar. <br /> <br />March 30 <br /> <br />Budget process manuals are distributed at Staff meeting. <br /> <br />April 6 <br /> <br />Departments receive current listing of fixed assets to verify <br />accuracy, replacement values and number of years remaining <br />in useful life. <br /> <br />April 20 <br /> <br />Department Heads submit Goals and Objectives, Personnel <br />Service Requests and Capital Outlay Requests to the City <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />April 27 <br /> <br />Department Heads submit corrections to the listing of fixed <br />assets to the Finance Officer. <br /> <br />May 4 <br /> <br />Administrative Coordinator distributes preliminary Goals <br />and Objectives for Staff work session. <br /> <br />May 4 <br /> <br />Personnel Coordinator distributes a recap of Personnel <br />Service Requests. <br /> <br />May 4 <br /> <br />Finance Officer distributes a recap of Capital Outlay <br />Requests. <br /> <br />May 4 - 15 <br /> <br />Staff Goals and Objectives sessions. <br /> <br />May 19 <br /> <br />Staff submits status update of prior year Goals and <br />Objectives. <br /> <br />May 25 - June 5 <br /> <br />Council work session on Goals and Objectives. <br /> <br />June 8 <br /> <br />Departments receive budget worksheets which shall include <br />equipment replacement charges. <br /> <br />June 22 <br /> <br />Department Heads submit completed budget worksheets to <br />the Finance Officer. <br /> <br />July 6 - 13 <br /> <br />City Administrator and Department Head work sessions on <br />preliminary municipal budget. <br /> <br />July 21 <br /> <br />Finance Officer submits preliminary municipal budget to the <br />City Administrator and Budget Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />
