Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-03-040 RESOLUTION PLACING A BOUNTY ON THE DESTRUCTION OF POCKET GOPHERS WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board of Commissioners has the authority to place a bounty on the destruction of pocket gophers in the County of Anoka pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 348.12 and 348.13; and WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board of Commissioners desires to place a bounty of $.75 each for the destruction of pocket gophers in those municipalities or townships that elect to pay the individual at least $.75 per pocket gopher and where said municipality or township will certify to the County the number of pocket gophers destroyed by each individual; and WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board, on February 25, 1992, adopted Resolution 23 placing a bounty on the destruction of pocket gophers in the amount of $.75 per pocket gopher. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That Anoka. County will reimburse $.75 per pocket gopher to the City of Ramsey in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 348.12 and 348.13 and that the City of Ramsey shall certify to the County the number of pocket gophers destroyed by each individual. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Hardin Councilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Peterson and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: Councilmember Beyer whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 10th day of March, 1992. j~l~yOr Ci~A~rhinistrator /
