Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #92-03-043 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADOPTING 1992 SCHEDULE OF FEES AND RATES <br />, FOR OPEN BURN PERMITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 10, 199'2, the City Council of the City of Ramsey repealed Section <br /> 7.83 of the Ramsey City Code entitled "Burning Permits" and adopted Ordinance ~92-03 establishing <br /> regulations for Open Burn Permits; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, paragraph 7.83.06 of Ordinance #92-03 states that a non-refundable <br /> application fee and permit fee for open bum permits shall be set by City Council resolution. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) There shall be a $20.00 non-refundable application fee required for all applications for Open <br /> Burn Permits. <br /> <br />2) The rate schedule for approved applications for Open Burn Permits shall be volume-based as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />Up to and including 5 cubic yards of material <br />6 to 100 cubic yards of material <br />More than 100 cubic yards of material <br /> <br />$5.00 <br />$2.00/cubic yard <br />$5.00/cubic yard <br /> <br />3) Fire suppression services necessitated by an open burn permit shall be charged at a rate of <br /> $250.00 per hour for the Ramsey Fire Department plus any other costs incurred by the City. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Gilbertson and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gilbertson <br /> Councilmember Hardin <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Beyer <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 10th day of March, 1992. <br /> <br /> <br />
