Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g92-03-046 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING THE WEEK OF APRIL 5 - 11, 1992 AS "WEEK <br />OF THE YOUNG CHILD" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, "Week of the Young Child" is sponsored by the Minnesota and National <br />Chapters of the Association for the Education of Young Children; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Small World Child Care Center in Ramsey is a member of the Association <br />for the Education of Young Children and have planned a week of activities to coincide with this <br />event; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this year's theme is "Their Future in our Hands". <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey hereby proclaims the week of April 5-11, 1992 as "Week <br />of the Young Child". <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.' <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beyer <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Hardin <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br /> <br />the 24th day of March, 1992. <br /> <br /> <br />
