Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-04-061 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE DONATION OF A FLAG POLE ASSEMBLY <br />AND PLAQUE BY THE COON RAPIDS AMERICAN LEGION POST #334 TO <br />TROTT BROOK CEMETERY IN THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. John Galvin and Mr. Ron Samer, representatives of the Coon Rapids <br />American Legion, wish to donate, on behalf of Post #334, a flag pole assembly and plaque to the <br />City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the flag pole and plaque shall be placed in Trott Brook Cemetery prior to <br />Memorial Day, 1992; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this quality flag pole will serve to honor those buried within Trott Brook <br />Cemetery. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That this flag pole, American Flag and flag honoring Prisoners of War and those Missing <br />in Action will be an enduring symbol of patriotism and community pride. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 14th day of April, 1992. <br /> <br />City'Ad~-'inistrator <br /> <br /> <br />
