Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-04-063 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CERTIFYING PETITION AND ORDERING FEASIBILITY <br />STUDY FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #92-12 (177TH AVENUE N.W. <br />BITUMINOUS SURFACING FROM ST. FRANCIS BLVD. N.W. TO ITS <br />EASTERN TERMINUS) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvement of bituminous surfacing of 177th Avenue N.W. from St. Francis Blvd. N.W. to its <br />eastern terminus; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of <br />bituminous surfacing of 177th Avenue N.W. from St. Francis Blvd. N.W. to its eastern <br />terminus has been filed with the City Council on April 14, 1992. The petition is hereby <br />declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This <br />declaration is made in conformity to Ramsey City Code Chapter 4.60 and Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the petition is hereby referred to Steven Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is <br />instructed to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed <br />advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is <br />feasible and as to the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City <br />Engineer shall also comment as to whether it would best be done as proposed or in <br />conjunction with some other improvement. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project//92- <br />12. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
