Commissioner Deemer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #92-04-070 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING TItE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE BASED ON <br /> FINDINGS OF FACT #0309 AND DECLARING TERMS OF VARIANCE TO <br /> FRONT YARD SETBACK REQUIREMENTS AT 5730 142ND AVENUE N.W. <br /> <br />On April 23, 1992, the Ramsey Board of Adjustment issued a variance from Section 9.20.12 of <br />the Ramsey City Code to permit Mr. Jeffrey Cross to construct an addition to the attached garage <br />that would encroach the front yard setback by a maximum of five (5) feet on the property generally <br />known as 5730 142nd Avenue N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br /> Lot 2, Block 1, and the easterly 20.00 feet thereof of Lot 3, Block 1, Ramsey Terrace, <br /> Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />This variance was issued pursuant to the authorization of Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City <br />Code. The terms of this variance are as follows: <br /> <br />1. The addition to the existing attached garage on the subject property shall not be located any <br /> closer than thirty (30) feet from the front property line. <br /> <br />2. The addition to the existing attached garage shall be constructed of materials similar in <br /> appearance to that of the principal structure on the property. <br /> <br />3. No other structures or additions shall be constructed in the reduced front yard setback <br /> unless the property owner applies for and is granted a variance for same. <br /> <br />4. A satisfactory final inspection of the garage addition shall be contingent upon the relocation <br /> of the storage shed on the subject property to comply with City Code setback requirements. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner <br />Thorud and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Acting Chairperson Charles LaDue <br /> Commissioner David Bawden <br /> Commissioner Ben Deemer <br /> Commissioner Paul Holland <br /> Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Chairperson Terry Hendriksen <br /> Commissioner Michael Terry <br /> <br /> <br />
