Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-04-072 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CERTIFYING PETITION AND ORDERING A FEASIBILITY <br />STUDY FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g92-14 (BITUMINOUS SURFACING <br />OF WACO STREET N.W. AND WACO DRIVE N.W. FROM 179TH LANE NW <br />TO THE NORTHERN CITY BOUNDARY) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvement of bituminous surfacing of Waco Street N.W. and Waco Drive N.W. from 179th <br />Lane N.W. to the northern City boundary; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of <br />bituminous surfacing of Waco Street N.W. and Waco Drive N.W. from 179th Lane N.W. <br />to the northern City boundary has been filed with the City Council on April 28, 1992. The <br />petition is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property <br />owners. This declaration is made in conformity to Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 and <br />Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed <br />to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the <br />Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also <br />comment as to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some <br />other improvement. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project # 92- <br />14. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.' <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
