Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-06-125 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OUT FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO <br />THE CITY'S SELF INSURANCE FUND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Budget Committee meeting of May 26, 1992, the Committee was advised <br />the City has received reimbursement from the Office of Aeronautics - Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation for airport expenditures incurred during the years of 1984 through 1990 in the amount of <br />$35,549.72; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the expenditures reimbursed were incurred and expensed in the City's General <br />Fund during the years of 1984 through 1990; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Staff recommended an operating transfer be made form the City's General Fund <br />to the Internal Service Self-Insurance Fund to provide for increasing the City's annual insurance <br />deductible in the future; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Budget Committee concurred with this recommendation and directed the <br />Finance Officer to prepare this resolution for Council approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the operating transfer of funds received as <br />reimbursement for airport expenditures incurred during the years of 1984 through 1990 in the <br />amount of $35,549.72 from the City's General Fund to the Internal Service Self-Insurance Fund. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes this transfer as of May 31, 1992. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Peterson <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ram_sey CitL.Council this the 9th <br /> day of June, 1992. ff--~-~ ~.
