Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-06-150 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENT #5 TO <br />FUNDING FOR AN ADDITIONAL SIX ISSUES OF THE RAMSEY <br />NEWSLETTER DURING 1992 <br /> <br /> PROVIDE <br />RESIDENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a significant portion of the Ramsey Resident newsletter is devoted to <br />providing information for recycling and other environmental issues which qualify as expenditures <br />from the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund - Restricted Portion; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the public hearing for the City's 1992 Budget, Council directed Staff to <br />identify a source of funds for the purpose of extending the number of 1992 issues of the Ramsey <br />Resident newsletter from six to twelve; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Budget Committee meeting of March 19, 1992, Staff proposed the <br />Landfill Tipping Fee Fund - Restricted Portion as this funding source; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the additional six issues will result in an expenditure of $7,300.00 from the <br />City's General Fund; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Budget Committee was in agreement with Staffs recommendations and <br />recommends to the Ramsey City Council that an Operating Transfer from the Landfill Tipping Fee <br />Fund ~ Restricted Portion to the General Fund be made to provide for this expenditure. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes an Operating Transfer from the City's <br />Tipping Fee Fund to the City's General Fund in the amount of $7,300.00 for the purpose <br />of extending the number of 1992 issues of the Ramsey Resident newsletter from six to <br />twelve. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the Finance Officer is hereby instructed to enter this Budget Amendment #5 to the <br />City's financial system to cause this amendment to be reflected in the City's financial <br />records. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
