Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-06-159 RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF SUNNY PONDS WHEREAS, Jack Menkveld, President of North Suburban Development, Inc., hereafter referred to as "Developer", has properly applied for final plat approval on the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: That part of the West Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying northeasterly of the center line of C.S.A.H. No. 5, EXCEPT the south 1,386 feet of the east 220 feet of said West Half of the Northwest Quarter and EXCEPT that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Nowthen Boulevard with the north line of Section 26, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota; thence southerly along the center line of said Nowthen Boulevard, a distance of 891.00 feet; thence northeasterly at right angles, a distance of 264.00 feet; thence northerly to the northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 25; thence westerly along the north line of said Section 26 to the point of beginning. and - The north 320 feet of the south 1,386 feet of the east 220 feet of the West Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. AND WHEREAS, on March 16, 1992 the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission approved the sketch plan for Fleischer's 2nd Addition (aka Sunny Ponds); and WHEREAS, the Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission met on April 23, 1992 and recommended acceptance of land and cash to satisfy park dedication requirements for the plat; and WHEREAS, on May 5, 1992 the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing regarding Fleischer's 2nd Addition (aka Sunny Ponds) and recommended preliminary plat approval of same; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council met on May 26, 1992 and approved the preliminary plat for Fleischer's 2nd Addition (aka Sunny Ponds). NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby grants final plat approval of Sunny Ponds in accordance with relevant City Codes. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Hardin Councilmember Peterson
