Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-07-179 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />REIMBURSEMENT APPLICATION FOR THE <br />PEACE OFFICERS <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO SIGN <br />CONTINUING EDUCATION OF <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Minnesota Board of Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) has <br />forwarded a reimbursement application for peace officer training in the City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the POST Board requires a resolution from the governing body of the City <br />of Ramsey designating an official to sign the application along with the Chief of Police. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby appoints City Administrator Ryan <br />Schroeder as a signatory on the reimbursement application for peace officer training. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 28th day of July, 1992. <br /> <br /> <br />
