Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-08-189 RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO LANDWEItR HEAVY MOVING, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT //91-13 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on October 22, 1991; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to Landwehr Heavy Moving, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project #91q3; and WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineer, Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc., recommended final payment to Landwehr Heavy Moving, Inc. in the amount of $29,658.57. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Landwehr Heavy Moving, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project #91-13 in the mount of $29,658.57. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this final payment. 3) That the total amount of this final payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of the bills for the month of August, 1992. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hardin and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Hardin Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Zimmerrnan and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this 1 lth day of August, 1992.
