Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-10-259 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR PATROL <br />OFFICER THOMAS LUECK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Thomas Lueck began employment at the City of Ramsey on October 1, <br />1991 as Patrol Officer in the Police Department with an annual salary of $26,718; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as stated in the LELS bargaining unit contract, of which Mr. Lueck is a <br />member, the probationary period for new employees is one year and the probationary period for <br />Mr. Lueck expired on October 1, 1992; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Michael Auspos, Police Chief and Mr. Lueck's immediate supervisor, has <br />given a satisfactory employee performance appraisal for Mr. Lueck and recommended retaining <br />Mr. Lueck at the City of Ramsey as a regular full-time employee; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the probationary period has been successfully completed and per the terms <br />of the LELS contract Mr. Lueck's salary should increase to 79% of Top Patrol, $30,488 annually <br />effective October 1, 1992; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at their September 22, 1992 meeting, agreed with <br />the recommendation of staff to retain Mr. Lueck as a regular full-time employee and increase Mr. <br />Lueck's annual salary to $30,488 effective October 1, 1992. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirm the recommendation of the Personnel <br />Committee to end the probationary period for Patrol Officer Thomas Lueck, change his <br />status to full-time regular employee and increase his annual salary to $30,488 effective <br />October 1, 1992. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
