Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-11-297 RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO C.W. HOULE, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #92-14 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on November 26, 1991; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to C.W. Houle, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project #91-14; and WHEREAS, Consulting Engineer Pete Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. recommended final payment to C.W. Houle, Inc. in the amount of $28,988.01. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to C.W. Houle, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Project g91-14 in the amount of $28,988.01. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this final payment. 3) That the total amount of this final payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of November, 1992. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Hardin Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Zimmerman whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 24th day of November, 1992. /~~~~ ~.7~. ~j City Administrator
