Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #92-11-299 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION (ASTECH) FOR THE PROJECT ASPHALT SURFACE 1992 SEALCOATING WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on July 5, 1992; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to ASTECH for the 1992 Sealcoating Project; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has recommended approval of Change Order No. 1 increasing the contract amount by $1,863.33 to a total of $85,923.33 due to legitimate changes in the quantity of materials used; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommended partial pay to ASTECH in the amount of $85,923.33; and WHEREAS, the City has issued previous payments for this project in the amount of $74,923.33. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to ASTECH for the 1992 Sealcoating Project in the amount of $7,379.50. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of the bills for the month of Novetnber 1992. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Hardin Councilmembe Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
