Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-12-313 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT #92-20 (BITUMINOUS SURFACING OF BISON STREET N.W. <br />FROM 171ST AVENUE N. W. NORTH TO 173RD AVENUE N.W.) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvement of bituminous surfacing of Bison Street N.W. from 171st Avenue N. W. North to <br />173rd Avenue N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of <br />bituminous surfacing of Bison Street N.W. between 171st Avenue N.W. and 173rd <br />Avenue N.W. has been filed with the City Council on December 8, 1992. The petition is <br />hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This <br />declaration is made in conformity to City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota <br />Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the resolution is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is <br />instructed to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed <br />advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is <br />feasible and as to the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer <br />shall also comment as to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with <br />some other improvement. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project <br />20. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.' <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
