Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-12-319 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #92-23 (BITUMINOUS SURFACING OF <br />ISON STREET N.W. SOUTH FROM 171ST AVENUE N.W. TO THE <br />NORTHERN BOUNDARY OF TROTT BROOK RIDGE ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has ordered a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvement of bituminous surfacing of Bison Street N.W. from 171st Avenue N.W. <br />North of 173rd Avenue N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council may order a public improvement to be funded by <br />special assessments by a 4/5ths vote; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the resolution to be in accordance <br />with the City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That a certain resolution requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement <br />of bituminous surfacing of Bison Street N.W. south from 171st Avenue N.W. to <br />the northern boundary of Trott Brook Ridge Addition has been passed by the City <br />Council on December 22, 1992. The resolution is hereby declared to be passed by <br />the required 4/5ths vote of the City Council. This declaration is made in conformity <br />to City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br />That the resolution is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is <br />instructed to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed <br />advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement <br />is feasible and as to the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The <br />City Engineer shall also comment as to whether it should best be done as proposed <br />or in conjunction with some other improvement. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement <br />Project 402-23. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
